Experience Golf Simulation in 4K UHD
The Optoma ZK521ST-B combines true 4K UHD resolution with a powerful 5,000-lumen laser light source to bring detailed golf course environments and immersive large-screen projection to your indoor golf simulator.
Designed with golf simulation in mind, its short throw lens helps produce a large projected image while reducing the distance required between the projector and impact screen. Whether you are creating a premium home simulator, upgrading a garage installation or equipping a commercial golf bay, the ZK521ST-B provides a combination of image detail, powerful laser brightness and flexible projector positioning.
Why Choose the Optoma ZK521ST-B?
True 4K UHD Image Quality
Experience detailed fairways, realistic course textures, sharp putting greens and clear simulator overlays in 3840 × 2160 resolution. The additional image detail enhances the viewing experience when using compatible 4K golf simulator software and hardware.
Powerful 5,000-Lumen Laser Projection
The laser light source provides rated brightness of 5,000 lumens, helping deliver clear, vivid golf course imagery in indoor simulator rooms with suitable ambient lighting. An excellent option for dedicated home setups and commercial golf simulator environments.
Short Throw Installation
The 0.79:1 short throw ratio allows the projector to produce a large image from a shorter distance than conventional longer-throw models. Careful projector placement can help reduce player shadows and provide greater flexibility when planning your golf simulator installation.
Flexible Installation & Long-Life Laser
Vertical lens shift and image correction features provide additional flexibility when aligning the projected image with your impact screen. Optoma’s DuraCore laser light source is rated for up to 30,000 hours in Eco mode, helping reduce maintenance for frequently used home and commercial simulator setups.

Projector Placement & Screen Compatibility
The Optoma ZK521ST-B uses a short throw lens with a 0.79:1 throw ratio. Your required mounting position will depend on your impact screen dimensions, selected aspect ratio, available ceiling height, vertical offset and the position of the golfer.
The projector features vertical lens shift and geometric image adjustment, providing additional flexibility when aligning the projected image with your golf simulator impact screen. Confirm your screen size and projection geometry before ordering, particularly when installing the projector inside a golf simulator enclosure.
Important: The ZK521ST-B has a 0.79:1 throw ratio, which requires a different projection distance from a projector with a 0.496:1 lens. Check your available room dimensions and intended mounting position before ordering.
